Right folks i have bought my bulbs and i want to de tango the front headlights

What is the best way to do this as I am a bit lost

i did this to my bugeye last year... had the headlamps out and removed the bulbs and then used a pair of long nosed pliers to break the orange filter into bits so that they would fit through the same hole that the bulbs sits in... as recommended by oneof the members on here
