any good brand 13cm will do then (alpine ,pioneer, kenwood , Infinity etc etc )
I've just fitted some Infinity 6010cs to replace my Kenwood on the front , they sound very good running from my reference Pheonix Gold amps .

but to get the best from component speakers you will need the fitted an after market amp

I have some Pioneer 6x9 at the backshelf will two Apline subbox in the boot and they sound awesome !!

No need to SHOUT

I put some Pioneer 17cm speakers in the front on my car recently, bought from a lad on here.

Came with the adapter things, might be worth asking him which ones they were, his username is cwt.

Fitted pic,

Not done anything with the rears yet, but I won't be weighing it down with amps and stuff.

Nope, no window problems. The speakers I bought were cheap and mine were fooked. The speakers came with adaptors so they fitted.

Drop a PM to Craig(username - cwt) who I bought the speakers off, and he should be able to tell you which adaptors they are.

Thanks

Trying to avoid fitting amps and subs. so a decent set of 6x9's and some decent ones for the doors would be great...

Being an sti it quick but don't want to weight it down with subs and amps.

If anyone has any for sale please send me a pm.

Fronts: you can use the Vauxhall Corsa spacers apparently, or make your own from mdf, which id what I did. Speakers in mine are 16.5cm.

Rears: my 6x9's are fitted onto 18mm mdf spacers and covered, (the spacers) with proper material from an ICE shop.

Both fronts and rears in mine are Sony, 3-way, bought after doing a blind test in Halfords and they were the ones I liked the sound of best.
