Does any one know if there's any good independent Subaru specialists in the Buckinghamshire area?

I know there's Adam's Subaru the main dealer in Aylesbury but am looking to take it elsewhere.

cool thanks for the info! I like taking my cars to independents as I have done with previous cars for things like cambelts. This is actually the first time I'm taking a car to get serviced as I've carried out services on previous cars myself before. The Impreza mechanics look to complicated for my abilities though!

 

Had my car serviced by Dave in the past. I'd 2nd the recommendation - an all round good guy. He used to be a Subaru mechanic at a dealer that closed down some years back.

 

cool, might give Dave a call then at Risborough 4wd as they're the nearest to me. It's reassuring to know other people have had good service from them too. thanks for the info. It's coming up for its 60,000 mile service so that won't be cheap but nowhere can be as pricey as maindealers and hopefully the service will be just as good.

 

I use Northants Subaru too, had mine done last Saturday in fact. Also did a complete rebuild on my brothers Legacy after main stealer cocked it up replacing parts that weren't needed and said his block was cracked. Steve at Northants Subaru sorted it and my brother says its never run better.

I took it down to Dave at Risborough four wheel drive in the end. I'd definitely recommend them. I had the 60k service done there and for a much better price than the main dealer in Aylesbury. Excellent service and nice bloke. Will happily take it back there

 

IMO hever never never use tehm for work , maybe parts, tried to rip me off big time on my P1, told me my rear inner and outer diff seals had gone, and mu rocker covers seal had gone. told me it was an engine out job to think the price was near on £1600, due to shock and disbielf took it to 2 known Specailist to be told it was no wher near as bad as i was told, the rear diff was weeing not leaking and to keep an eye on it next time it was in for a service, and yes the rocker cover was leaking but it did not need an engine out it could be done left in think the price wa £240 to have it done.

use SGT for parts every now and thn as i do like Mike and the Sales team but fwill never put my car in there for work or take what they say on board.
