Nope...

Some may quote £2k, but you won't get less that that... Best to call around and get some quotes.... May be able to import directly yourself if it is possible to contact PPG directly (I wouldn't know as haven't tried it)...

Remember to factor build cost and fitting (plus removal of old box), essential seals/gaskets/oils... bearings may need replacing, selector forks.

While box is out, would suggest a new clutch as well....

Basically, your looking at minimum £3k for the parts plus labour if not doing yourself.....

I,ve got a new quaife dog box,£2500 supplied and fitted if that would do? The kit alone from quaife is £3200 plus vat.

i didnt want a dog box really as they dnt really have a long life span. wanted staight cut gears 1 to 4 and then keep factory 5 gear!

if i was able to import it, whats the best country? america? wouldnt know where to start though! anyone know any gud net sites?

is there any more manufacturers out there apart from ppg that do staight cut gears?

PPG (Pfitzner Performance Gearbox) is an Australian company... you could try googling them to see if they can supply directly...

No idea who else does straight cut gears for a subaru casing....

You sure you want straight cut 1-4? Can be quite noisey.... I went straight 1-2, helical 3-4...

Good luck on your quest....
