Emissions figure for 2005 Spec C

Default Emissions figure for 2005 Spec C

Hio guys just had a look at my logbook in light of this bloody high tax thing and noticed that my MY05 Spec C is listed at 325 co/g thingy does this sound about right as it seems a bit high.It was only registered last july aswell

Think that's the same as mine, is it not recorded as part of the eSVA test?

Under the bonnet it says .5kg which is 500g so id say 325 was an improvement

LOL not really i only do 4k miles a year i do the other 85k a year in the Skoda diesel

Just checked the V5 on my MY06 Spec C. 323 g/km. Reg'd Jan 06 Current tax £205 next year £440

thought if it was registered before march 06 it won't be going up each year well not yet anyway

Yes I thought only applied if registered after 31 March 06.

it did before todays budget.It now applies to all cars registered after march 2001 now

If your car was registered after March 2006 then your tax rate is based on emissions and not engine size. I have a MY98 Type R... COMPLETELY STANDARD and I registered in 2007, so my tax at the moment is £300 a year!!!

£300 a year on a 10 year old classic I guess your in a bit of a predicament though as you will never be able to sell it being in that tax band so i hope you plan on keeping it forever
