looking at getting a full decat exhaust system for my v3 sti classic, what do the roger clark ones sound like?? want a really nice growl but not too loud. was also thinking H&S. anyone??

 

I take it we are talking about their std exchaust rather than the team ice

the team ice is not for road cars imho

I have the std version and I find it perfect with out being to loud

I ve had a tsl fire storm and hks hiper before hand and this one i find to sound much better

as will all rcm products the quality is second to none

 

i had a full decat on my uk classic which had a scoobysport back box, how does it compare in sound to the scoobysport??

 

i had a standard rcm exhaust on my 2005 sti and its the perfect compromise
and like wrx rich said quality spot on

 

Got a full RCM exhaust on my WR1 just right.

 

I have one of there 3" full systems on my car, i swapped the normal backbox for the team ice one a couple of months ago so have the normal backbox for sale if interested

 

Decat RCM on my Spec C. Not too loud at typical RPM then goes mad at about 5500 RPM

Spec C has less/no (?) sound deadening so it will sound louder on mine than your soft car

I have the full 3" RCM system,non res centre and the team ice rear. However I run mine with a sports cat. It takes out a lot of noise TBH. I know someone who has a full de-cat on there type RA and its very loud.

Its a very well made system indeed. It can be loud and on motorways can drive you a little insane but worth it.

I'm sure if you were to get the system you wouldn't regret it buddy.

As they say on Blnd date. The choice is yours.

It sounds great, you can hear the burble and it's not over the top either





Quality

 

team ice exhaust too loud to live with (had one). dont get me wrong they sound ace but pissed me off in the end. bought a blitz, found that too loud. now have a magnex and its too quiet lol

 

so how does the normal rcm system sound say compared to a hayward and scott normal system, ie not the jap style back box but the round 3.5" system as that is the style i prefer.
