Default Braking when p*ssed off

Whats the deal with people who do this? Just read in the type R - P1 thread about some guy flat spotting his tyres from 100mph, cos his gf p*ssed him off...

A few months ago, was in my mates STi v1, and we were talking about turbos, when I told him, "you dont need to take out the whole engine, just to replace a turbo"...
He wouldnt believe me, even though i clearly explained how, got pissed off, and slammed the brakes on!!!! There could have been someone behind us, and it was very stupid. I hate peope who act stupid when driving.

I think, shamefully, even my dad did it once, and tbh, people who cant keep theyr cool in a car, should reconsider a few things before stepping foot in a car again.

Learnt a long time ago not to allow my feelings to influence my driving.

I slammed my old scoob into gear once and it wouldn't come out. Panic set in but it moved eventually.

Now, irrespective of how upset I am I drive normally or if I can't I'll stop and have a cig.

Braking hard from any speed for no reason is just childish.

I learned not to drive the car in anger (like after a fight with the wife!!) after doing it one night and scaring myself lol - not worth it....and too easy to put your foot down in anger too.

I just have to do the opposite. Take it upto about 3500 RPM and you can't hear what the other person is saying.

I drive hard when I'm angry but only to hear the exhaust.. its like a release..

I live very close to a couple of long open roads so I can slam it to 70 nice and loud without being dangerous or breaking the law !!

No one round either to bother.. The scooby has so many uses

strange this one. maybe just me but how many of us fall out with loved ones, grab the car keys and slam the door on the way out?

i try not to do it now, as if your not in the right state of mind in a 200bhp plus car... its not just yourself your putting at risk is it?

If a 'mate' of mine pulled a stunt like that, it wouldn't be the brakes I'd be stamping on, that's for sure..!

As said, immaturity/inability to control one's self, most of us grow out of it before we leave the playground, unfortunately some never do..!
