Crank sensor...errr...where the hell is it? Ive owned my scooby for less than two months and lookinging under the bonnet is kinda intimidating! Help?

 

Ask AdamM, he has had to have a couple replaced recently...

On the front,low down, just above and to the rear of the bottom pulley (MY95)

Gonna tell it anyway.

just beneath the alternator, behind the cambelt cover, held in place by one bolt.

If you have problems with the cam position sensor, I can do that too!

ps. didnt solve my problem, was a dodgy ecu wire.

 

Im well chuffed. My local scoob main dealer is 40 miles away and they woulda charged a ****load for the part alone. Fanks to you guys and andy@gradeAsubaru i got the job done done for under thirty squid. My pride an joy runs like a dream and even starts every time.
