For Servicing, fault finding and stuff like that, most people use ACE Motorsport in Newbridge, 01495 244555

Well when i picked up my car it was fine and was ok for 2 days, then the next day i started the car the check engine light came on, i drove it and it felt like the power was down and it was struggling making full boost, car seemed flat. but today turned on the car and the check engine light didn't come on and the car was back to full power.

I'm not sure if it's got a dodgy pipe somewhere and i'm losing boost now and again.???????

what model and year do you have ?

a few simples for you to check yourself are

1. all clamps are tight
2. all pipes are fitted correctly and have no splits (turbo pipe under inlet manifold is a common one)
3. clean out your boost control solenoid (do you have a 2-port or 3-port ?)
4. make sure the little brass restrictor is in the bcs pipework.
5. check your maf and replace if needed.

try a few of these and see what improvements can be made, also try an ecu reset.

cheers

yes thats right regarding the maf but on the 95 there a little more robust compared to the 99-00.

4. - on the bottom of your bcs there will be a pipe and it has a little brass restrictor sat in the pipe if this is missing it will only give you 0.6 bar of boost pressure, i don't think this will be your problem as you say it works one minute and not the next.

worth just checking to make sure its there.

Andy can do almost anything you want, as far as prices go I've always found him to be the best value. Not sure if he has a set price list though. Give them a ring I've always found them helpful.

Found my problem with the car, hose clip had broke on a pipe and pipe was loose. Now fixed, done ecu reset and check engine light has not come back on and power is constant
