Its from a 93 WRX, yours is a 93 RA.

It is a direct fit, same diffs etc but your car will have longer gearing with the new box

Thanks mate,

Do you still have yours for sale?

If I just change the diff to match a new box does that open up my options? Or is there a whole lot of other stuff that needs changing.

I want to keep costs under a grand in total if i can help it.

Can I fit a type R box and not have the DCCD set up?

What are my options?

Thanks

Yep, change the rear diff to match any box you find, factor in about £150 for a R160 rear diff.

Mine is for still for sale - you'll need a 3.9 rear R160 to go with mine which is a sport rear diff, quite happy to source you one if you want to go this route

Ok, see what you can do and let me know the total price and I'll see what I can do.

Is that all I need for it to fit it straight in? Whats the top end like with your box?

Is it a stronger set up than the one I have now?

Where you based again mate

Thanks
