Question WRX STI... potential problems???

Hey guys,

Sorry that it has to be a question for my first post on the forum but its on my mind so first things first...

Recently purchased a WRX STI type UK ver 8 2003... 45K with a full subaru history (COMPREHENSIVE) but i've noticed the car is jerky certainly in 1st and 2nd, almost like a hiccup or miss up until the turbo comes in at about 3k+ ...is this normally, or is there a likely problem or cause to this... plugs or coil packs... and if there is a problem would a service cure the issue (do they run a diagnostic as matter of course when servicing?) Oh, it seems less prominant when its warm... god knows!

Any answers would be a great help,

Cheers

Chris
