Default my new scooby bu have a few problems

hi guys im new here so first of all would like to say hi to all
i brought my self a 1996 uk spec impreza tuesday with a few mods done to it
its running a gems ecu and bascilly runns like a bag of nails when cold
i have been told its the cold start and there is nothing i can do
but when she is upto running temp she runs fine with only a few lumpy spits no and then but wont start once warm it takes a few turns
i think myself its overfuelling but no sure
im based in the midlands and was wondering if anyone knows where the best place to take it to get it check out
it has had a lot of work done by triton motorsport but its to far for me to travel
was last live road mapped with them at 310bhp
but the guy i brought it off said he done a couple of tweaks and made 329bhp on the rollers
i would just like to drive it without bouncing my head of the windscreen everytime
also she is drinking petrol like theres an hole in the tank
i done 150mile coming back on the motorway cruising at 80 on £30
now i put £20 round town and have done 50mile
any help would be grate
sorry for the long post
cheers
guys

needs mapping properly.. the GEMs can be a pain to get right admittedly but that sounds far from right

Depends where in the Midlands. South midlands there is Zen at Wellingborough, API just south of Coventry, Scoobyclinic in Chesterfield are further north to name but 3.

The bouncing head off windscreen sounds like fuel cut.

General Engine Management Systems Ltd

Even when it has been re-mapped, it will drink a bit so stop smoking, stop drinking, stop eating . . . and enjoy

Zen or Scoobyclinic both in the midlands.. not 100% sure if Zen do GEMs though.. you would need to ring to check.

or I can travel to the midlands to remap it.
