I would not waste my time with EBC's,I have used greens, reds and yellows.the reds are best but as you have found do not last, the yellows last well but the glue used to hold the material on the back plate is not up to the job and the material starts to separate.

Question

Surfer,

How come you don't like the DS2000 for track work? I thought they were well rated for that...

cheers,
Dave

I've used DS2000s and they were excellent on the road, and worked well on track, too. Well enough to warp a set of Bremsport discs.

However, they're not at their best on a track. They work, but not as well as a higher rated pad when they go over their operating temperature. They also wear very quickly like that.

But great road pad for sure.

Richard.

Any other comments?? I'd be interested in a disc friendly alternative to EBC.
