This DeCat and ReMap thing confuses me in spades ....... and I am the best Engineer here!
If you leave everything in place - the Lambda Sensor and everything else which talks to the ECU ... why would you need a Re-Map??
Except to pay some geek silly money for sitting in your car with a pair of Det-cans on his Shrek ears, connecting to a LapTop and changing some DATA stream which, lets be honest, a 12 year old could do!!
Then, carefully opening your wallet and removing some massive amount of dosh for nowt
