Been offered a 95 wrx sportswagon at a good price.The owner said he left the car parked up for a week a so and when he went back and drove it again it started hesitating at about 3000rpm for a second the clears,it ran fine before,he as told me that its the coil pack,could this cause this or may it be something more.

 

Coils or maybe plugs most likely.

IVE NOW BROUGHT THIS CAR,THE HESITATION ONLY HAPPENS EVERY NOW AND THEN SEEMS MORE LIKE A MISSFIRE YOU CAN JUST SEE THE ENGINE MISS EVERY NOW AND THEN ON TICKOVER,DOES GET WORSE IF YOU PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN,ARE THESE SYMPTOMS OF COIL PACKS AND IF SO IS THERE A GOOD PLACE TO GET THEM FROM.
