Fitting exhaust backbox
Hi,
I have a new exhaust backbox for my impreza,
im going to be fitting on the weekend, am just wondering how the centre section and back section join? i know that they are clamped together but is there an olive inbetween the two of them? or does one fit slightly inside the other?
Thanks

nope.. they join on 2 gether.. if your doin your down pipe to the centre section THEN it would have 2 fit in slightly inside.. which you aint
Its worth having some extra bolts lined up just in case, even after I ground my nuts off and cut the nut/bolt in half they were still married for life, so i used some old nuts and bolts of the right size (ish) until I could source the right ones.

I popped into my local tyre/exhaust place and they swapped my back box over for a 5ver just before they were closing. I had a go myself but the bloody nuts wouldn't shift. Was easier on the proper ramps.
You be careful grinding your nuts off !!!
