I am on 16inc on my98 and would like to know what inprovement 17inc wheels would make?

Is it worth sending £800+??

 

improvements would be:

1. looks (depending on taste etc)
2. may improve handling (less tyre-wall flex)
3. get bigger brakes behind them
4. weight (if u go for lighter than standard wheels)

as for whether its worth £800+, its your money, you decide! (a *lot* of people do upgrade from 16s to 17s+)

 

don't know about bigger brakes, but yeah, that's the precise effect my 17" implants had

 

Sharper, more responsive handling, but a stiffer ride. Thinner sidewalls = stiffer springs.
