Default Bank holiday deal pc world.

Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal.......have been toying with the idea of a laptop, and now having to move the family into a Trailer park!!!!(dont ask)need to sort one out fairly soonish so i can still run business access internet etc....

hmm its ok but with just 512mb for vista it'll run like a dog i'll see if i can find something a bit more reasonable

This is better

anything below 1gb on vista will be a nightmare even on xp id inadvise it

Have to admitt that £400 was the top of budget......but suppose it would be worth it in long run....Will only be Homeless for about a month and then will have office set up in new house so need one as cheap as poss......but usefull for future use..

Check out the Dell website, Inspiron 6400 model for £399. 1024mb Ram with windows Vista. Have a look.

Not sure why you don't like Dell, but my sister, Dad, wife and a collegue all have Dell laptops - no grief whatsoever, so if budget matters, Dell is not to be sniffed at.

Just google dell problems/nightmare and see how many matches you get on google

anyway ive found a far better notebook for the time being anyway

Samsung R20 Laptop Intel Core Duo 1.73GHz 1GB 80GB DVD/RW 14.1" TFT Windows Vista Home Premium
