Wink Wheel / Tyre Loan to check fit?

Could anyone lend me a Newage wheel with a 225/45/17 tyre on so I can try and get it to fit? Would need PCD of 100 to go on classic car.

Thanks

Martin

What do you need to know? The newage wheels DO fit classics , that is newage wheels up to 2005 IIRC.

The tyre size you quote looks a bit big, you may get rubbing. Accepted size to avoid rubbing is 215/40 17"

I'd like to use the Bridgestone RE070 on my '95 STi RA hillclimber. I believe these to be to stickiest 1A tyre.

Don't mind a bit of modding, Arch rolling / pulled out? etc?

I do have Speedline 17x7j et48 but believe these won't be wide enough.

OR, are the advantages not worth the hassle/cost and I should just put on some 215/40/17's!!?

Cheers

Martin
