"Chav Fast" - when council estates go to Combe

The fires is a suprise but not much else.

Limited track times ensures people want to go as fast as they can, to make the most of thier money, at a tricky track like Combe, thats risky.

Badly maintained cars......well older Jap performance cars are cheap to buy, falling in to the hands of those that can't really afford to run them. These are identifies by lexus lights.

There you go, pretty bad state but I heard Paul say it wasn't as bad as it looks, he is supposed to be competing in the scooby shootout next week, lets hope he gets it sorted in time

Didn't the RX7 also have a competition winner as a passenger?

I don't think I have ever seen a car go round as fast as this, certainly was a flying machine...

I’m gutted to see that, it’s not a nice feeling no matter how easy it may or may not be to fix.

Best of luck getting it sorted for SSO

Paul's already had a similar problem at the first Time Attack:

Amazingly this time was set not only without 4th gear but also on a lap where Paul sees smoke and flames from under the car as it crosses the start/finish line. We immediately get Matt in to the pits with the team armed with fire extinguishers. Fortunately the fire had extinguished itself but that was a scary moment. A quick look under the bonnet and it’s a split low pressure return oil feed pipe from the turbo.

(From the Zen site)

Hope you get it sorted quickly mate.
