The night before scoobylive

Does anyone know of the Black Bull Inn, in the village of Escrick? Is it a nice area as im thinking of staying over night before scoobylive. Is there anything to do in the area on the saturday?

Nothing at all around there, >> Taxi to York £12 >> ishh then lots to do ??
