Read on here the other day the shell is going to be selling v power for the same price as normal unleaded.
Goes to my local Shell garage today and wot do i see signs everywhere Vpower same price as normal unleaded on the 16th may 7 am till 7 pm.

My only worry is old dears with their VW Lupos filling up with it !!! cos they think they are getting something for free !!!

Im going to make full use out of it as im almost empty in the tank. I have a feeling the local shell will be full of scoobs tomorrow as it has been well publicised on most scooby sites.

My nearest one is shut for refurbishment, the second nearest has had 'no fuel' handles on the pumps every time I've been past. Anywhere in Milton Keynes doing it?

hi guys, just thought i would mention it that for any of you living around the solihull area the shell garage on the warwick road going through acocks green will be doing v power for the same price as normal unleaded for today, as in this morning from 6am. phoned up last night and spoke to the manager there, he said it was some special promotion to encourage people to use v power. i certainly will be filling up there this morning !

No promotion here, just filled up at 100.9, £50 less in my pocket! It must just be in the stations that are not selling there quota, the station I use is very busy all the time being near the motorway so no chance here I reckon.

Well, run my tank nearly dry this week after hearing this news, and to my dissapointment, there is no-one in this area (stockport, south manchester) doing the promotion today. After phoning around all my local garages, marple, hyde, wilmslow, stockport and even altrincham, it would seem that this is an ongoing promo, with a rolling system around the stations. A number of owners told me they are doing it, but not today. Wilmslow are maybe doing it tomorrow, hyde hadn't even heard of it! I think you're better off phoning around over the next week to make sure your chosen station is running this promo before you go out, station locator here:

Chris I got to agree it's a bit like the budget with queues of people saving 2p a litre. It's something I guess.
