used lavasoft ad-aware but not strong enuf to remove spyware/trojan. used spynomore and found lots but demo version wont remove it

so what's the best free spyware scanner and removal out there?

p/s also used microsoft defender. it found nothing!

 

try the windows live onecare online scan or spybot or get any demo that checks but doesnt delete, note where they are & delete manually

 

Spybot is good and definately worth a go. There are a number of online scanners that can be used.

Spywareblaster is more of a preventative tool but worth installing once youve sorted your problems out.

Bare in mind most spyware software will down load harmless spyware when you down load the demo software just so when you do a scan, it brings it up.

A Trojan is a virus anyway isn't it?

Try AVG Free and run a scan, that should get rid of the trojan.
