Hey there

I'm trying to find my gearbox code so i can figure out what gearbox i have in my Impreza. I think i may be being a little thick as i cant seem to see the code anywhere!! I'm looking over the passenger side wing down near the starter motor and cant see anything!!! Could some one post a picture of where it is, i'm going mad here!!!!

Hi mate, Bit of a pants pic but you can see the white sticker on the right hand side up the front by the starter motor.

 

ahh is it on a sticker then and not marked on the box, cos it looks like the sticker has come off!!!

so are there any other markings on the box. Or is the sticker the only one?

When i go home ill have a look at the box in my shed... ill let you know.

 

look on the chassis plate near the left supsension mount under the bonnet...
should start with something like Ty.......

 

yer that's there but i'm not convinced its the original box, well when it goes ill find out what it is!!!!
