Default idle and hessitation

hi all, still trying to conquer the dreaded hessitency and hunting idle. anyway changed plugs last weak and oil and filter whilst the airbox out cleaned maf as well. since then the car hunts on cold start which i dont remember it doing and the light throttle hessitency is still there so is the slight hunting once warm and the revs drop slightly befor recovering to normal idle when the clutch is depressed. just checked ecu for codes but nothing there just a constant flash from the cel. any ideas? maf being the obvious but not going down that route again of just changing parts as its normally the last thing you change and ends up costing a fortune. any help most appreciated. ps its a terzo.

MAF and Lambda are the obvious culprits.

How did you gap the new plugs. Scoobs are extremely sensitive to having the correct gap. Should be 0.6 - 0.7mm..

Would be my guess as its the only part that has changed.

gap was set to 0.7 even though the plugs spec says 0.8 but even then the ones i took out varied and one was quite alot wider!! so dont think it would be that but maf and 02 sensor still very possible wish i could get my hands on a good maf just to try!
