And I just thought it was raining.......lol.
Apparently a burst water main and a fireman told me the water board man came down and couldn't do anything single handedly, so had gone to get back up.
Loopy's worried about going to work. For me it would be the perfect excuse.
giving my wheels a good clean anyway!!!!!
were ok, but according to the fireman, the cottages further along are knee deep in it...!!!!!! bad news.
i'll keep you posted.

this is in upminster bridge.

it was gushing down from up the hill slightly.
lucky enough we have the river ingrebourne running down the side of the road, so once the water got higher than the kerb, it filtered into the river.
as said above, the people down the road were not as lucky
i bet theres a hose ban next week too

You're flat's on the ground floor as well isnt it????
Has anything been done to get rid of the water yet? Did you both go to work or are you stranded inside with daytime tv?

lol, no didnt get inside our place fortunately (i put the xbox 360 on top of the wardrobe though, just in case) 
Loopy's gone to work, as they managed to pump the street clear, but the road is shut at both ends, so unless i fancy a walk, i might as well stay put, near the kettle and chocolate digestives!!!
