Can anybody help!! I like to change my 97 spec front bumper to my99 type,also headlights,fogs,or maybe a piaa kit,can it be done or am i asking for trouble.

 

Good question cause I was wondering the same thing the other day.Be careful about who sprays it cause the my99 bumper doesnt seem to like non factory paint being stuck to it,specially around those orange intakes under the indicators.This is often the first place where the paint begins to come off first.The new clear fog lamps are only 40 or 50 notes each anyhow and look a lot better than the 97 ones I think.

Any input large/small will help no end, are the fitting points for the bumpers/lights/fogs the same,any idea of cost££££!

 

Yes, it can be done with no problems, the bumpers are a straight swap, the fog lamps / PIAA's were all interchangable between bumpers anyway.
The headlamps are also a straight swap over and use the same mounting points.

Do you the new 97/98 head lamps,can you fit the my99/00 clear ones instead or are they of slightly diferent size?

I've got a Tommy Kaira front spoiler and grill (all in one) for sale if you want something a bit different. Its off my 97 STi.

The lights for the MY99-00 are a straight swap with the MY97-98 ones. They do not replace models from MY93-96.
