To add ......

Make sure you book (and pay) for your tickets from SIDC, as you will be able to park in the SIDC enclosure via your 'Pass', and wont have to park with the 'door dingers' !!

Just been notified that tickets from the SIDC shop end this week.

If you don't get your tickets through SIDC, you will be parking with the door dingers!!!

You have been warned !

I cannot believe the lack of interest/advertising of this event this year .

I only thought a few days ago that I had not seen anything about Japfest, and thought I had better pre-warn everyone.

IMHO The event was given plenty of notice by Wimpy

https://www.scoobynet.com/essex-scoo...st-2007-a.html

As you have seen the original " Japfest " Post was live in here on 26th Feb , As you say there does not seem to be much interest in this event from the ESC

Not every one agrees....and by the lack of interest in this, there may be more that like footy than Jap car meets!

I think I know the reason why not as well

Just seems strange, as it has always been such a good event, attracting such a wide range of Subaru's .

The problem is there are so many event's in the Essex section that people can't go to all of them and plus the cost involved petrol and entrance doesn't make it a cheap day out , and alot of the guy's are spending their hard earned cash on extra bit's for their car's

To be fair I went to Japfest twice, but probably won't go again. Unless you're going to go on track, there isn't that much to do. Very limited stalls etc.

Ok, it's a good 'social' day but nothing else really goes on.

All IMHO
