Of course, the BBC have managed to cater for such things and re-scheduled the program after the football.....NOT

sadly BBC coverage is always a waste of time, they'll repeat the (tiny) coverage they showed tonight again at the beginning of tomorrow's sham and so on down the week.
THE premier sporting event in Britain and the coverage is about 30 minutes total if you take out all the repeated stuff...

THE NEXT TIME SOMEONE COMPLAINS ABOUT F1 HAVING ADVERTS IN IT ON ITV, AND LONGS FOR THE BBC DAYS.

YOU MAY WANT TO REMEMBER THIS!!!

Coz thats what they used to do to F1 as well. They are far too busy creating sensationalist poorly researched consumer programs to sort the schedule out.

BBC always showed the GPrix race in FULL.

Fapping ITV always break for a commercial just as the big guns are coming in for pit-stops or you'll hear "while you were watching that highly relevant Whiskas advert, you missed the overtaking manouever of the century.." GRRR

Why don't they do what they do in the states, and squash the picture up slightly and have rolling silent advert across the bottom of the screen occassionally.

That way we get assimilated by product-pushers yet we don't miss the action.

I've made a point of trying not to buy ANYTHING I see in the GPrix ad breaks..

hehe.. that'll teach them for interrupting my viewing.. (maybe)

What a load of tosh! I thought they were gonna show the todays antics in full but 30 seconds worth was a waste of time!

GT,
I've been watching F1 without fail since the Mansell era and I can't remember the BBC mucking around the schedules much at all ?? How long ago are you talking about ??
Sad day when F1 went to ITV, as it will be when MOTD switches too.

I've given up trying to catch the 30 seconds of rally coverage per week - needs to be on a dedicated sports channel to do it justice.

Neil.
