Be nice if we could include a venue with a nice big flat carpark this time

Depends how serious you want to get.

A fairly basic set-up like mine with all the basic gear you would be looking at least £275 - £350 for new stuff. Second hand stuff is obviously cheaper. Some deals can be had from model shops.

Don't forget money for spares.....things can break quite quickly and easily, just ask some of the guys that went today!

Not sure.

I think it was between Mark_B4 and Cornelius today. Mine was holding its own though Especially once the two speed gearbox was working properly.

None of them are slow though!

My truck is a Thunder Tiger SSK V2
John1uk is a Savage 3
Wilf's Evo Rush

not sure on the others.

Don't think my 2nd gear was kicking in, so needs a bit of adjustment, when I get a moment at work I might make a rolling road to make engine and gearbox adjustments a lot easier.

Also, I'll make a peg board so everyone knows what frequency everyone else is on.

How many Frequency channels are there? can't remember now!

I think John will be going to Toys R US sometime to get a skate board ramp, the nutter, not that I go mad or anything

John will be checking out a circuit on the A127 (Wickford)

Also, Electric cars are welcome as well, before people think otherwise

Mine is a CEN Fun Factor and was sold to me as a complete beginner as a car that was fast and fun.

The kit came with everything I needed too.
