Default Ebay Help

Hi all

Looking for some advice...I posted a few weeks ago about a non payer for some scooby bits which my wife and me were selling on ebay. Im confused as to what is happening now. The buyer did not provide payment by paypal as instructed.....we gave him 14 days to make a payment which wasnt forthcoming....we lodged a non payment mark with ebay as advised previously on here...and following another 7 days we still had received no payment. ...at this point as per ebay terms we were allowed to relist the item for sale....however the original buyer now states that he has sent a postal order (i dont know how as we never exchanged address details and stated payment by paypal only) complained that he has not received the goods...( I dont have his address to send goods to)...and is generally quite rude about leaving negative feedback on my wifes ebay account....
The goods are now relisted and I have received some private offers to buy....am I okay to continue the sale, as ebay have closed of the dispute and offered a relist....am I right in thinking the original buyer now has no right to the goods...

thanks...long winded sorry but very confused..

just wanted to be sure mate...to be honest we are both new to ebay...and in fairness he did have a relatively stragne mix of feedback with a few people saying "dont bid if you cant pay" etc, but some satisfied at his response....
so kinda weird...just didnt like to think I was contractually obliged to sell to him..I had hoped that after ebay closed the dispute and offered a relist the orginal sale contract is void..

You can sell item elsewhere and from what I understand if they didn't reply to the unpaid item notification any feedback he leaves will be removed so you don't need to worry about bad feedback from them

oh thats good....just thought it was pretty bad that we had done nothing wrong followed all the rules and regs...and he was getting a chance to slate us ............just because we couldnt wait on him to figure out how to pay...the auction ended a month ago...think we have been pretty fair about things...
thanks
Paul

Afaik he will not be able to leave you feedback until you have "marked the item as paid for" which you are not going to do.
