Default Folding mirrors with ignition

Fitted my electric folding mirrors over the weekend. Very pleased, only had to run some wire a short distance.
Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone has made theirs open/close with the ignition being on/off. If so, how?
Thanks

I thought someone must have done it. There must be plenty of people on here with these mirrors.

Myself and a work colleague were just discussing this today..........and we're struggling a bit as to how to work it out.

We think we have it sussed but the solution involves many relays. There's a lot of connections that need disconnecting, and some need changing over at the right time. So far, I think he's slimmed it down to 8 relay contacts !

I can't see the problem with just pressing the button!

I'll let you know how we get on.......

Thanks for the reply. I was expecting the obligatory "Folding mirros are for pussies" etc.
I had a feeling it was quite complex, as you have said. And the button looks more appealing now
Good luck with it.
