can someone help me cause i'm a dunce
went for a remap yesterday and according to what i've just worked out i got 353.3bhp.
i calculated the torque figure which was 278 by the rpm figure which was 6676 and then divided it by 5252. is this right or am i just plain stupid?

Bear in mind also that this wont be your peak torque figure, that will come in lower down the rev range around 4000rpm
For example if you power was 300HP @ 4000 rpm then your torque is 393 lb/ft.
For example if you power was 300HP @ 4000 rpm then your torque is 393 lb/ft.

HP = Torque X rpm/ 5252
So
HP = 278 X 6676 /5252 = 353 BHP
In other words, yes , you were right
