Can i remove the EGT (exhaust gas temp) sensor CAT on fire sesor?

Default Can i remove the EGT (exhaust gas temp) sensor CAT on fire sesor?

Can i remove the EGT (exhaust gas temp) sensor or CAT on fire sensor.On MY95 WRX or will it f**k it up?:

shouldn't make any difference mate, why are you taking it off ?

If it does cause a CEL have a read here. This is for newage, but I doubt it will be any different to fix it for a classic ?

Resistor costs 13p from maplin. 2.2k Ohm 0.6 watt.

done my95 sti decat dp on saturday.. temp sensor removed ...no cel ! the bottom one is a lamda one... mine is into my centre decat !

No hole on new downpipe for it got hole for top lambda but my95 lambda in headers so thinking of using blanking bolt there.

Yes, you can remove it. You'll not have any problems.
