Impreza New Age De Cat Downpipe

has anyone got any experience of using this comapny or fitting this part???

any information would be much appreciated

 

UP TO 30BHP ............. on its own this will not give you a 30BHP gain.

 

i thought you could get about 30bhp from a full decat system, but this seems alot from just a downpipe.....but then i dont know much!!!

 

i already have tsl b/box, centre section and de resonater pipe.

it seems cheap for a down pipe??

 

30 bhp is abit over the top but you will notice its on.
you'd get the most from it if you had it mapped.

 

will ill get it mapped pretty much straight away, with full system and green panel filter im hoping for roughly 315bhp? is that bout right???

 

would help if we knew what car it was on?

You will need an uprated fuel pump too no doubt

In which case with a full de-cat, cotton panel filter, uprated fuel pump and re-map you could see anything up to 330 odd bhp. I would suggest you have a look at the TSL web-site for one.

You're looking at around £2K I would suggest.

 

£2k for what???i already have full system, bar down-pipe.

re-map£700??and down pipe £200 so £900

 

Didn't realise you already had the rest of the system Well if the system and that downpipe are any good, you just need the re-map + filter + fuel pump (that MUST be done) and you are there. If you get it mapped by someone who knows his onions you will get the figure you are looking for

Just make sure you get it mapped by someone reputable like Bob Rawle

 

I bought a cat back system for my GTR from them, 2 decats for my 2 evo's and i've just bought some headers, up pipe, downpipe, centre pipe and backbox for my 2002 wrx from them as well.

Paul is a top bloke, good quality exhausts and great service too.

and no I don't work for them.

That's a good price. Obviously depends on the quailty.

Just like to say hello to all and this is my first post. It seems to be a good site on first impressions, lots of usefull info and good crack. I have recently bought a 2002 STi Type UK and I'm in the process of tweeking and tuning, spending all the morgage money

I've just ordered my 2fast2cool 3" system. IIRC They can be "Japspeed" systems, maybe they all are as Paul has some kind of connection with Japspeed.

Big Rod is good crack aswell and if there systems are as good as they are, I've nowt to worry about

Cant wait for it to arrive, just wondering how to explain to the wife why it sounds different now
