Hi there guys, sorry to bother you all im just after a bit of advice. I have a 97 uk impreza turbo wagon and im looking to replace the standard exhaust with an aftermarket one later this week. Im looking for something loud, and something that will improve performance slightly...So far i have seen a hayward and scott exhaust and a scoobysport afterburner/ninja one...can anyone here advise me which is the louder and which is basically better??any help would be great.Thanks

 

Blitz Nur-spec........ one of the loudest

 

definately agree with the blitz nurspec, it hurts ur ears!has a deep throaty burble and has massive power gains ...worth every penny, make sure u buy a nurspec r cat back system and a decent decat downpipe....

 

Cheers guys...im not sure if the finances will stretch to a blitz one though as the bird is nagging about wanting a holiday...lol

 

hi there! just thought its worth mentioning that some exhausts can be far to loud! if its stoopidly over the top look at me loud you want get a blitz but your neighbours and your ears certainly wont thank you for it! my mate lives about a mile up the road from me with a blitz on his EVO 5! i can here him pull off his drive and drive all the way to my house!
its nice to listen to now and again but i cringe everytime he picks me up as everyone who lives on the lane must think were having an earth quake!

 

Cool mate...im ok, live in the middle of no where so neighbours aint an issue..im just wanting something that sound more aggresive than my stock system...loud when you give it some beans, something that turns heads but doesnt attract too much attention from the fuzz

 

Phone Hayward & Scott direct for a deal, much cheaper than you think, not much more than some second hand systems I've seen in Jap parts places.

You can get a jap style back box which is louder than the classic style one.

5Zigen, with a decat. Really nice sound. Very, Very loud, pops loads too. Far better than a Nur spec. Noticed a huge power increase after it was fitted.

 

After driving this car (hi Charlie) i can honestly say i prefer it to my de-catted Nur Spec R
