I know that seems a lot of money but when you think what you are getting for the money, it is very good value.

That includes all your accommadation, evening meals, champagne parties, all sea crossings and there will be a donation going to Children in Need.

That price is for two people so when you look at it again, you will see a reasonable price.

We have in place a three stage payment plan which is:

25% Deposit
50% by the 31st May 2002
25% by the 31st August 2002

We have structured this to give everyone the opportunity to get involved. You have loads of time to raise the cash for the whole event.

Sounds excellent, even got the other 1/2 up for it, but the small print is scary:

"Cannonball Events limited reserves the right to refuse participation or cancel the event at any time without disclosing the reason. Deposits are non-refundable."

dont fancy losing over 2 grand if things go t1ts up before the event kicks off .....

Firstly, to GM, this is not the kind of event where lots of drunks with more than sense get chased by the half the police forces in Europe. That was the Gumball and the CANNONBALL RUN EUROPE 2002 is a totally different event.

This event is for people who love their cars and love to drive them. The Cannonball Run Europe is designed for everybody, not a certain type of person, and will be challenging yet enjoyable.

To DanTheMan, That point in the small print is only there to cover ourselves. Any event like this, has that point, just so in the event of the worst happening, we are covered. Do you honestly believe I would let them cancel it! I am looking forward to participating in this as you are.

Sith, thanks for your post. The only reason I require peoples addresses is so I can send them out a information pack which we are doing TODAY! If anyone would like one, them please let me know.

Polarbearit, Well there isn't a set date to commit. The event will be limited to around 150 cars, maybe stretching to 200. We already have a lot of interest and places filled. I have mentioned earlier in the topic about the payment plan. This is designed so that everybody has the opportunity to participate. We have structured it in such a way that there is plenty of time to raise the necessary funds and thus putting no strain on you.
