I emailed a document from home to work and it has come through on "Notepad"

I have managed to open it up in Word but it doesn't make any sense...is there any way I can format it into a Word document.

i am guessing that you sent it from word on the pc at work to your pc at home ??

it may depend on the version of office you are running at work, compared to the one at home, but usually it should work out fine, as the suffix/file format is the same.

the only way to get around it, is to manually format it yourself in word.pain i know.

 

If its opening in Notepad then surely it's got a .txt extension and not a .doc extension

 

Open it in notepad, then copy'n'paste into Word. Format as necessary.
