insurance against being unable to drive?
ISTR an insurance company who would insure you against being unable to drive (e.g. loss of licence, break your leg, etc.). It was based on the Isle of Man. I thought I'd read it in the SIDC FAQ but I can't find any mention of it. Anyone know the details (there was a web site associated with the company)? Although the premiums were quite steep I recall that they would pay out enough to hire a chauffeur for a year.
Rum (Tom Butler) of schofield insurance fame gave me some info on a company that does just this. From memory you can choose your level of cover. Give him a call (usual no connections etc, just happily insured with him
