It's very fast and easy to install because it requires only ONE fixing point and a single electrical connection. I pulled the connector off one of the two OE horns & ran a separate earth to the chassis for the other terminal.

The excellent sound output of approx 139 decibels !Is INSTANT thanks to a perfectly balanced air jet system. The air intake has a patented system that gives a pleasant High and Low tone with surprising power. The main body comes in red (like mine), black or chrome.

Hella supertones sound tinny and rather rubbish.
Better off going to your local halfords and getting the Stebel twins with a relay. WTF now that's loud! £20+relay.

Yep, available from halfords with relay included in pack.
Ideal fit and far better than the hellas.

I got the PIAA twin horns, £27 does the job, sounds better than the original scoob horn, and it does'nt cause the elderly to mess there inncontinence knickers when you beep it. Its a good all rounder.

I fitted a dual tone horn from a Ford Mondeo also they can be found on Escort Vans W reg onwards . Done away with the horn behind the grill on the classic used the bracket from escort and fitted it behind the bumper on classic i now have a loud deep blast instead of a stupid beep.
