Question why do the replacement tyres catch.
I had pzero 18inch tyres on my car which had split on the inside wall, pirelli could not get me a replacement set so my tyre dealer got me a set of goodyear f1 foc (at cost to pirelli). My problem now is when the boot is loaded with essentuals going to network Q rally every time you corner the rear tyres catch.I have replaced these tyres with the same size, No problems before what have i done wrong.?????
Many thanks Brad.

The new tyres obviously have a slightly different wall shape, either fit a small spacer, or insist on the right tyres!
If it were me, I wouldn't want to know that they were that close anyway.

edited to say that I think I got hold of the wrong end of a short stick, I've read the other thread, I guess they're rubbing on the outside, if that is the case, the only answer may well be to get the other tyres after-all.

Brad, Revs mag recently tested a load of tyres all with an identical spec. And the difference in actual width between the fattest and the slimmest was 9mm
