It's looking as an Impreza-proto in Autocar... Where is the inspiration of the Jap carmakers??? Look at Alfa, Jag, Audi...

 

I also think it looks much better than the MY01 - although I am not sure about yellow

I was really talking about the hideous rear, but maybe its just that horrible yellow colour.

I think that grey pitcure is an early phototype and the yellow is the real thing ? It was forwarded to me from my evo6 mate saying "Evo VII - I hope not!!"

I never said it was better or worse than the wrx, in fact i've just bought the last of the MY00. Its just that the styling seems to be going backwards! No offence intended...

I agree - the Evo VI definitely looks better that the Evo VII.

 

The grey one looks very odd. Why would you put extended arches on the front and flare the entire rear quarter on the back.

I like the EVO VI, even if it does look like its come out of the Richard Grant Accessory shop (anyone remember them?) but I do not like this, I think these pictures may be the 'artists impression!!!!'

 

Well, got to agree with the pro evo7 people, it does look good, almost what you would have expected from the new scoob... Japanese Car Magazine had artist impressions of both the Evo7 and new WRX, basically the head light clusters were the same, obviously the bonnet scoops were different.. wise Subaru had gone with the artists impression i saw..

Don't hold your breath lads....the EVO7 is supposedly being held up by the Jap Government because of 30+ years of "indiscretions" by Mitsubishi. Failing to recall dangerous cars springs to mind

Still looks better than the MY01, but then again, that isnt hard (except the Ford Scorpio is uglier).

Evo 6 is miles better.

The rear arch is the new Impreza. I rest my case.

The other two pictures actually look good (and less fake)to me: nicer than the EVO VI and new Impreza. But I'll stick with my MY00 for a bit, ta muchly!

 

Definitely looks a lot less aggressive than the Evo VI.

Although, based on what some of the preview pics of the MY01 were like, I am not expecting it to necessarily look like the pics on this thread.
