Will a MY03WRX ppp ecu plug and play in a MY02WRX?

Hi Techi guys and gals,

i need to know if a PPP ECU from MY03WRX blobeye will plug straight into a MY02WRX Bugeye?

any help would be appreciated.

No, I don't think so, although not knowing the exact versions etc I stand to be corrected. As far as I am aware MY03-05 use a different fuel pump driver which needs some wiring and relays changing, plus the alternator is different. It can be made to work but won't plug in and go.

You may also require supporting mods to make the use of the ppp maps safe. You would be better spending your money on a proper remap of your current ecu. You will get better gains and it will be safer.

its not for me i'm selling the ppp kit from my03wrx and i had an enquiry about it fitting a my02wrx.
