classic. does anyone no how the hell you get the bolt off the up pipe stud that is almost directly under the turbo with no room to get a socket , help . cheers

 

Hi there, do you mean the one sits just down the back of the Turbo and bolts the turbo to the manifold? If so, I use a chisel to lessen the stress, (all mine were knackered and rusty) then a 1/4" drive 14mm socket on a flexi with extensions....

If you mean to the ones from the turbo to the downpipe, it is possible to get a socket on the all....3/8" drive set is good.

Loosen downpipe and pull it away from turbo. Then you'll be able to get at all the up-pipe bolts attached to tubro and support bracket safely and without causing damage to them.
