SCOOB DUE NEXT WEEK HAVE GOT LASER DETECTOR BUT DOESNT USUALLY PICK UP CAMERAS UNTIL LESS THAN 100 MT AWAY (REAR FACING CAMERAS) HAS ANYONE TRIED THE FLASH REFLECTIVE PLATES ,HOW MUCH ,DO THEY WORK ETC,

They are illegal. And during a magazine test they didn't work very well.

Consider one of the GPS databases - eg Origin, Geodesy etc. Or drive slower and observe better?

Whether you believe speed kills or not the higher the speed the higher the kinetic energy in a square relationship of any impact you may find yourself in. However, I feel that speed cameras seem to be 80% revenue raising and 20% safety.

Don't know what car you are coming from, maybe telling you how to suck eggs etc. But I doubt the wisdom of a first mod to a Scooby being a numberplate to pervert the cause of justice.

The're a complete waste of money. Check out the web site the earlier post mentioned as you might want to consider a better detector or a laser jammer.

 

I think you'll find that a number of distributors of these plates have been taken to court by trading standards, 'cos they don't feckin' work.

Turn the caps lock key off or some prat will post that massive picture of their keyboard complete with crumbs and coffee in it with a big arrow pointing to the Caps Lock key. And I won't laugh as it has been done to death.

And no, argue all you like. Folk on here will be happy to justify their opinions, and the debate can be quite interesting. One thing I like about the board though is overall the level of responsibility that most people have concerning their driving - or at least that is what most of them say.

 

I should get that keyboard checked out too, looks like your caps lock needs some looking at aswell as your attitude.
