Default Chatter sound!

Ok am pissed off now, put a powertec Induction kit onto my Sti 4, and sounds great while driving it, untill i come off the throttle, and then there is a horrible noise from the turbo, like a chatterin sound!! is bloody horrible, is there a way round this so i dont get the sound?

Car is pretty standard except for the induction kit and the Turbo sonic DV

If its a recirculating dump valve, which im pretty sure it is, then it is already making that noise within the standard intake system, but you will barely hear it as it is enclosed.
When you put a cone filter on it you are opening the air intake up more which is why it is much louder.
If you dont like it put the standard airbox back on with an uprated panel filter.

Or change the dump valve, which I believe is a VTA.

Induction kit + decent VTA dump valve = chatter

Not sure if its from the turbo though, sounds more like air going through the induction kit. Sounds good none the less
