Why would you want to ?

So you know its illeagal to put a child seat in the front of any car with an air bag, and disconnecting it could invlidate your insurance if you had a crash.

 

not too sure about that - why do manufacturers put switches in cars in the first place then?

 

i wasn't aware they did ?
but disconnecting any saftey device is a i found that out when called my insurance re swapping the steering wheel for a pop off one, they told me they would canx my insurance straight away

 

some cars have the passenger airbag on a switch.
