Question about theifs.
It was mentioned in another thread (in this forum) That gold wheels make a subaru stand out more and more likely to catch they eye of a potential theif.
I was wondering, there are a few scoobs out there now with various stickers etc on them, which *do* stand out, like a sore thumb in a lot of cases
Now , would a stickered up scoob catch a theif's eye and make it more of a target to be stolen etc OR would it put a potential theif off stealing it because it is more noticable and identified easily by the graphics?

I really dont think gold wheels make a scoob stand out any more than normal, i think a lot of them stand out pretty much as they are, big spoilers, bonnet scoop's etc
Not sure really on the stickers front, I think they would probably think twice about taking a stickered up scoob, as I dont think they would want to spend 8 hours in a lock up peeling stickers off, then polishing off the residual glue, unless stolen to order to be shipped abroad
Plus whilst being driven/towed away it would be much easier for the police to spot

i took my stickers off 2 weeks ago, and sunday night, some ****** had a go at my car when i was in the shop....
Come on, really, who was going to steal my car a few weeks ago lol

Think it's more the scoop on the front and the wing on the back that make them stand out more than Gold Wheels.

Jess managed to nick the wheels off this one when no one was looking.
She's been having a nose under the bonnet as well.

In many cases , the gold wheels combined with tinted windows make the car stereotyped as the archetypal "drug dealers car" . . Therefore will repell potential theives!

i too was once stickerless
