Default Paid to have car fixed....not fixed

Just paid out £600 to have a fault fixed on my VW Passat. Garage said all done, and tested to make sure.

Fault still there.

What am I able to do?

FUll refund or at least they have the car and fix the bloody problem.

Its like buying a bag of sweets for there to be none in there

Only ever hand over your money in future when it has all been fixed and you have seen the work carried out on the invoice. If your unsure, ask them to show you whats been replaced, your entitled to it

It's all stated on the invoice.

Thought about them showing me the parts, but only after it was too late

Will call them and see what happens.

I've seen cars with almost the same level of rust in that area and they've been fixed with sheets of metal being cut to size and welded in. its not a job I'd want to do myself but it can be done.

LOL - read the following posts, the car is now likely to be in landfill, or "landfill" in todays world "on the coast of China"
