Can a n/a US 2.5 block be used as a turbo engine?
does anyone know if you Can use a 2.5 N/A US engine to make a 2.5 turbo engine?
you see ive been offered this engine cheap, any ideas?
i know that pistons, rings, rods, crank etc etc need changing, but this engine is next to free

Semi closed deck, with pistons and rods that are stronger than the N/A IIRC.
It's not impossible to use though. Plenty have used open deck 2 litres with plenty power...Harvey being one of them AFAIK, but unless you get it all really cheap(strong rods and pistons), i'd think about it a bit longer and wait for some more advise.

Yer i'd say so, just take your time. I say that to everyone, as it really does make things easier if you sit and make sure you've done everything before moving onto the next bit.
Just remember the 3-bond sealer.
